When my husband and I were married we took all the documents, utility bills, bank statements efc. to our immigration interview but the interviewer rejected our petition and told us to get a lawyer. We came to Attorney Lerner's office and Christopher Reid took our case. Within 30 days the interviewer's decision was reversed and our marriage was recognised. But immigration said they could not proceed with my husband's petition for permanent residency because before our marriage he had applied for asylum which was denied and he had ben placed in removal and would have to appear before a judge to see if the removal could be dismissed. Christopher was able to schedule a court appearance but then came the pandemic and his court date was canceled five times Finally Christopher was able to speak with the people in charge and my husband's removal was dismissed without a court hearing. Then Christopher proceeded with our petition for permanent residency and we got a new interview. We were very anxious because of the result of our first interview but Christopher prepared us very well explaining how to get through the process. Within a week of our interview my husband had his green card. Christopher knows the law and procedures very well and is always at work on your case. He seems to always know what is going to happen next and he got us our green card when other attorneys had failedp. Thank you so much Christopher. We highly recommend you to anyone who asks.

Attorney Lerner responded to my email inquiry very quickly and he didn’t charge me a dime for consultation. He answered all my immigration questions professionally with honesty with an explanation of the possibility of things that I might encounter. I am very confident that he can help me with my immigration concern.

Mr. Brian was professional and friendly as I had a phone consultation with him. I can tell he enjoyed being complemented about his YouTube videos where I discovered him. He answered my questions quickly and professionally. He wasn’t harsh or tried to rush me off the phone. I was comfortable speaking to him. He knows his stuff and I am overjoyed that I found him. I will be working with him. Guys I have a good feeling about him! And u will too.

Questions & Answers

I have a friend who has a an old petition from 1999 through his US citizen dad, his dad passed away and never finished the paperwork and he arrived (my friend) to the US in 2004. Is he still eligible for the i-245i?

Hello Elsy: The real question is not whether he is eligible for 245(i) [which he is], but rather, if the petition itself is still alive. If he was in the U.S. when the petitioner died and is still in the U.S., he can actually have it go forward without even having to do a humanitarian reinstatement.
