Nice, pretty garden to visit while listing to audio tour!

Came here during January, the plants are dry. Good for a short walk but not much to see. The good thing is you can learn about the famous Luther Burbank's plants.

I live a short drive away from the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens. When I am in a reflective mood, I like to stop by and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful garden. His well maintained home and greenhouse on the grounds give us an opportunity to glimpse the past in all its splendor. I stopped by yesterday, the last day of 2021. The garden is quiet this time of year. The vibrant blooms of flowers will be more prevalent in the coming months, but it is still an awe inspiring experience. The man that could make a flower left future generations a Historic Landmark for all of us to enjoy.

Really well kept grounds but much more beautiful during the spring or summer seasons I'm sure.

Thankfully the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens is safe. They are well away from any active fires and not damaged has been reported. They decided to close their tour season earlier in consideration of the current conditions. The Gift Shop, Museum and Docent-led Tours will open again next year on the first week of April. The grounds are open daily from 8:00AM to dusk.
Don't knew lol
There was a hellebore blooming there about three weeks ago
Yes. We are a short block from the Astro Hotel on Santa Rosa Ave. We are 6-8 blocks from the hotels around Railroad Square - Hyatt, Courtyard by Marriott, AC Hotel and Hotel La Rose
Why don't you bring your cat, leopard gecko and bird too be fair now. Jk lol 😉 I was gonna provide the answer but Elaine did 🙏
Yes. The Gardens are all on one level, with brick paths.
Unfortunately, we don't see doing a Tea again in the foreseeable future. We regret this, because the Teas were a lovely event, but they are labor-intensive and we don't currently have the critical mass of interested Volunteers to be able to pull this off.
I have no idea. Luther Burbank (no affiliation with Hollywood so far as I know, i.e."Burbank, CA") is related to her. His time was the mid-to-late 1800s anyway. He was a primary figure in establishing the prominence of California agriculture.
