Pretty good lounge. Am I blown away, no but it's really peaceful early in the morning when no one's around.

Probably the nicest AA lounge ever. Great self pour bar with super premium spirits and wines. A great selection of hot and cold food on the buffet, and a freshly made tostada station which was excellent. You don't get access when traveling domestic First/Business with AA or Alaska, but can use it if you are Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald and flying with any Oneworld airline, in my case Alaska - well worth the 15 min walk from T6 to T4 for the lounge.

Beautiful indoor lounge space. Even makes the Admiral's Club next door inadequate and it is one of the better airport lounges I have been in

Today is August 7th, 2021 The AA flagship lounge in LAX international terminal is open and fully functional I don’t know why it shows temporarily closed !! The lounge as all American based airlines is not as good as the international airlines lounges. It has showers and a very very limited selection of snacks and hot drinks to choose from They provide free WiFi and it’s very spacious It is also well situated in the middle of all gates makes very easy to go to your desired international gate in a short time Mainly, my 3 stars is due to the very moderate or let’s say below average selection of food and beverage they offer

Does the AA Flagship Lounge at LAX Terminal 4 have shower facilities that are open? I read an older review that said they were closed due to COVID.

I cannot find the locations of Flagship lounges at terminal 4 or 5 either. Where is the map?

Can I use this lounge if I am an Am Ex Platinum card holder or do I need to have an additional membership?

A same day INTERNATIONAL AA or OneWorld flight in business or first class

Flying coast to coast Non-stop from LAX to DCA in First Class, does this qualify for entry into the Flagship Lounge? If not, is a one to two hour pass available?

No you cannot. Flagship longes are not by membership. You need to fly business or first on a AA or OneWorld flight on the same day that is NOT domestic. It has to be international.
