I have been waiting almost a month now for a decision on coverage. Tennant overflowed sewage on the floor and it covered under my policy . Adjuster was there 3 weeks ago . I am still getting the run around . House is still sitting in the same condition. I have called about 6 time along with my agent who says she wrote my policy and it’s covered and we all get answers like adjuster was out sick and company issues. I pay on time and am not going to let this go . Beware of UPC

If I could give no stars, I would. Our policy went up more than 100%. We had a legit claim that got denied back in January. Now it’s time for renewal and the added all these items about “litigation and claims”….coincidence? Brand new roof and HVAC, windows and doors since we bought our house 3 years ago and none of it is worth anything? This company treated us horribly through our claim process (got denied within 36 hours of their adjuster coming out). Do not go with UPC, you will be sorry. I plan on dropping them if I can find anything lower, and after reading how they have treated some of you when it came to firing them, that process makes me angry already for what’s probably going to happen. The State needs to intervene on this company.

Best insurance company and claims agent we've ever had. Much better than USAA that has gone downhill as per many of us former insureds. UPC is the best way to go for us in Florida.

This company is a fraud. I have been waiting over 4 months for a refund of $996 for a cancelled policy. I have been lied to about a check being sent out three different times. My insurance agency got the same run a round. I guess my next stop is the Attorney Generals Office and a class action suit since I have been informed that there are at least 5 other previous policy holders who are still waiting for refunds. Oh, and let me state that the letter I received from UPC acknowledging my cancellation and stating I was due a refund of $996 would be issued within 15 days. That was in November of 2021. At least I never had to file a claim with them, I am sure that never would have been paid either. Do yourself a favor and get a trust worthy insurance company. Couldn't give no stars in order to post.
