We were here for a private event and had a very nice evening. The wine tasting was set up in such a way that there were plenty of knowledgeable servers and space to mingle with the other guests. The food was plentiful and beautifully presented. There was a buffet of small dishes as well as many servers passing bites. It was a nice touch that later on they even brought around deserts. I really liked that although we had a private space we still were not completely separate from the remainder of the restaurant. The space was very open and you were not cornered off in some dark room for your private event. I would highly recommend this venue for your private party. Enjoy!

The Edison has a wonderfully eerie, yet beautiful interior space. The lighting is done in a way that you are not aware of the source but the pools of warm light guide you from place to place. There are several artifacts left over from various times of the building's many purposes. These can be found scattered around the space. Its a cool juxtaposition between the industrial age and the elegance of the current make-over. Find yourself a quiet corner or nook and enjoy cocktails with someone you love, neither of you will forget it.

Great bar made from an old manufacture company. Wrought iron doors and machinery. Burlesque dances and piano performers.

The Edison bar is one of my favourite bars in the world even if it is just because of the amazing job that they’ve done at converting an old power station in a pumping venue! The jazz band pounds away, friendly service and plenty of places to sit. Decent food too! Love it!

They are not open.
Yes on the weekend, as the night goes on certain areas of the club evolve into places to shake your tail feather... Nothing outrageous but just good fun dancing
There was a live band accompanying karaoke singers on the Thursday my husband and I went. Probably started around 8:30-9PM?
Its burlesque

The vibe is pretty chill on Saturdays. There indeed is a DJ. As for music, they pretty much play everything. Rap, hip hop, 90's, rock en español, etc... Here's a tip: look for the green fairy selling absinthe shots. Definitely worth it!!
Yes. Button down shirt and formal shoes for the men and cocktail dresses preferred for the women is what is posted on the website.
You can get a table if one is available. Availability is better early to mid week. Would recommend reserving one on the weekend. Definitely reserve the back rooms.
There are better places to smoke, you probably won't meet women there (it's a place for groips to be amongst themselves), but knock youself out. Personally, I would go to a cigar lounge for that
Sat night is mostly the 'clubby' night-- kinda hip hop, which I don't think works well for that gorgeous vintage place. We also made it there on a Friday I believe and after burlesque show they had some dancing, but again thought DJ could do much better with vintage electronic jazz remixes and the such.
I think the dress code is enforced whenever they are open.
^ looks like they know about the ladies 💃🤣🤣
Depends on the day, but usually once an hour 9:30pm to 10pm
Yes, but its costly if you want to reserve a table. Call and ask about the minimums per person. Else, there is standing space but go early because it can get packed.
Usually on Saturday its $10 cover , Friday free. No minimum . I have been going for last 3 years .
