i went here first week of august 2018 I went around 2pm and called me when they about to close when they about to close I look to my left there still more people sitting there waiting

Yes I was there the other and stood in line outside for 3 hours and even though I was there at 2 because I wasn't inside by 4:30 and signed in to take the permit test I had to come back the next day. Didn't matter that I was there well before the 4:30 cut off time. I was so mad!

I was at DMV twice because of missing documents, to get real ID (to fly nationwide) you have be in person and bring 3 things : Passport, SS Card, and Bank Statement or Auto Insurance. If just regular ID (cannot fly), can do online. DMV will not set appointment for test, must stand in line, best time is before 3PM because they turned me away first time.

If you try to make an appointment it will be at least 3 to 4 weeks out....Personally I have found the best way to do dmv is to get there about 3 pm, they will still be handing out #s. Go a little earlier if you want to make sure but I have always gotten a # if I was there by 3. They will send you a link that helps track your spot in line so that you can go sit on your car etc. It is very helpful and if you happen to totally miss your # being called they are good about getting you in ( I lost my sticker that you get for health clearance). If you get there in the morning you will be waiting longer for nothing.

I got there at 6 am. The DMV staff started coordinating the lines and people's paperwork at 7 a.m. DMV doesn't open until 8 a.m. I was out of there by 8:15. If you don't get there as early as 6 a.m. your wait will be 3 or 4 hours just in line. Good luck

How is it you think you lost your driver's license? Either you have it or you don't? You just need to go to the DMV and tell them we lots of license and they'll pay a fee for them to reissue one. If you want to get one of those real IDs which is the new standard coming online next year It all depends when you're current licensed up for renewal whether you should do it yet or not. if you're going in to get a real ID you'll need an original source document which is like an expired US passport or birth certificate.
