MCM Property Management is truly one of the greats in the business. Their professionalism and attention to detail has been one of the finest I’ve experienced. Anyone who is fortunate enough to have them as their representation is in the win column.

MCM is truly awful. My girlfriend and I lived in our apartment for just over a year and left it in the exact same condition we got it in. They deducted over $1,200 from our security deposit for supposed damage to the floors that was already there when we moved in, and for having to replace a fridge door because of markings from magnets that were on it. MAGNETS. We were unfortunately not able to move forward with a lawsuit in small claims court because we did ourselves the disservice of not taking photos of the move in or move out. If you ever find yourself renting from MCM make sure you take photos immediately after move in and right before move out so they can't screw you over the way they did us. Trust me they will try. They will bill general wear and tear damages to YOU so they don't have to pay for it. Classic shady property management 101. I haven't even mentioned the fact that we moved out on the 15th of March and got billed from Conservice for the full month of March just because MCM wanted us to be, and now Conservice needs MCM to confirm our move out date so they can refund us half that money and MCM is ghosting them. They haven't responded to any of Conservice's calls or emails. Oh, and even though we were paying $2,500/mo rent MCM was too cheap to even provide a recycling bin for the building. We either had to buy our own bin or put our recycling in random bins on the street. If anybody from MCM is reading this - you know exactly who I'm talking to. F*** all of you, you scum of the earth dirtbags. I dare you to respond to this.

This is the most unprofessional and unethical property management company. Any renters who is not renewing the lease, please do not pay the last month rent. I was honest to pay rent for my rental at 603 Hauser even after not using the apartment since March. I moved back to NJ due to Covid and loss of job, I paid all the months even when there was reprieve from Govt to defer rent. AT the end of the lease, the home owner said everything was fine. I was asked to pay the last month rent by this unprofessional company and said that they would return my deposit. They deducted $1001 out of it for Reoval of personal items-125, cleaning charges 249 and prorated painting charges 627. THe owner is suppose to paint the apt evertime they rent it and they never did that when I went in. I will take this with LA Home rent control and also make sure this company never cheats people especially during such times. This is how leeches suck others money to pay their bills

I love my aprartment! I love the coming home to it each and every day. My only constructive criticism is that my heater until just last week had been a problem for almost three years. Not sure why the thermostat was the last thing to think of when people came out to look. Also, I would love the screens put back on my living room windows which have been without since the paint job. And while I love the new paint job and the addition of the recycle bin, there are other general things of general up keep that always seem to be on the fritz...the parking lot gate and the broken bulb in my hallway in front of my apt. The latter has been out for over two weeks and is the second time in 6 months. The first time it was almost a month before I finally had to ask someone to fix a bulb in a public space. Again - Overall ... I LOVE MY APT! I just wish there was a consistent sense of urgency when things breakdown or issues need to be communicated (like me never hearing about the change in the gate code until after the fact).
