If I could give them 0 stars I would. They’re unprofessional, rude and the worst low income management I've ever encountered. True definition of FRAUDS, every last person that works there. Straight slum lord management u can’t even get them on the phone because they just let it ring or pick up & hang up in your face. Then to make matters worse they only open the phone line for an hour to call for an application to be mailed to u which everybody’s calling at the same time which means ppl that really need low income housing aren’t even getting a chance to get through & get on the list which is scandalous, they should really be reported, I say fire the whole staff & hire better qualified professionals that knows how to do their job. All I gotta say is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PPL.

I wouldn't rate them at all. We've recently put in our 30 day notice because their management is POOR, CROOKED, UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL. What management ALLOWS for tenants to SMOKE INSIDE their apartments? My child has SEVERE ASTHMA & the main EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR name Ann called and told my husband & I that if she was to take us in front of a judge, the judge will also tell us it's okay for tenants to smoke in their apartments. Nobody wouldn't want to come home to a place that lingers with the smell of cigarettes and marijuana, throughout living room, kitchen, our cabinets & our clothes. Montoya was our previous manager who was RELATED to the tenants below us, who ALLOWED it to happen because she was the tenants relative. We've lived in that apartment for a over year, never missed a payment of our rent, when late we paid our fees and then a month with dealing with the tenants smoking we lost the fight against the manager Montoya & Alpha Management because for some reason their lease of rules hasn't been written yet, it's frustrating that they think it's easy to have to watch our child be on breathing treatments, they don't pay hospital bills yet alone they're not the one dealing with it. If this is how their management carries themselves, I wouldn't recommend anyone to apply with them. I wouldn't want any other family go thru what we went thru. We haven't stayed in our place for the whole month December, even when we would check on it, we would walk right out. We had to live with different people's just because we weren't safe in our place. I pray God will continue to bless them and blesses them with better management to help families in need.

I had to wait on paper process with approval from application twice, for the 2 properties I looked at one on Sierra Vista, catered predominantly to latinos only as preference internally by management company. I had friend in federal govt confirm also while waiting for me in rental car, while I was inside talking to manager on Sierra Vista. That they were housing illegal residents on their property. Now I got accepted into Alpha Property Management because my friend who waited for me in car that is in Obama Administration, had to call HUD directly and speak to guy he personally knew. And got my application pushed through so I would not be homeless in the streets. Turns out the property they put me in on North Kingsley Drive,off of Melrose between Normandie and Western. Had same hidden agenda to put predominantly latinos by 3/4ths in their property. They didn't process,accept your application at all, and even said they lost it if you were not latino/latina, and under HUD Rules within their program . They cannot discriminate against you based on gender or ethnicity. And this On Site Property Manager named Ruth Navarro, has a major language barrier problem with her tenants of few that are Black and White. Never cares about fulfilling maintenance requests,because they never get filed. And laughs about how she has free apartment, and only needs to tend to those that are Spanish or Senior Citizens. But never the tenants that are younger and Non-Latino. She let me move into my apartment with my black mold in bathroom, and a water leak under bathroom sink without any repairs done or maintenance request filed. Alpha Property Management seems to think keeping people like Ruth Navarro, that feel they are above the law "Warranty of Habitability Act", they can daily bully tenants to pay rent or cannot get their security deposit back. So when applying for HUD /Section 8 property, avoid this company it just isn't property owners who used APM in past that had problems; it is the tenants too. And you can get your money back after going through LA County Health Dept over breathing in black mold spores daily. And coughing up blood. I plan on moving when lease is up, or moving when I start new job to afford safe living conditions in near future. These guys never fix anything,never answer phone majority of time when it comes to maintenance; you ultimately pay for it yourself. And once again, how the hell Ruth Navarro can be allowed to represent any HUD program is beyond me, not being bilingual. With very poor English. To Communicate with all tenants. First two weeks in Kingsley Drive unit, I had water leaking under bathroom sink with wood rot, and black mold that I now breath daily, gas leak that I couldn't smell and had I used stove to cook food. I would have blown up said the Gas Company. Then I had Lead paint dust emitting from Wall Heater for Heat at night, which to this day I cannot use. All these health code and building violations, because APM argues Ruth N. is not maintenance,and cannot do her own independent walkthroughs for repairs;doing a visual check only. All these excuses and no repairs of property have jeopardized my health,and when Health Inspector comes out from LA County in few days. The fines will roll, and I have option to get my full refund back on security deposit in $650.00. Under the Warranty of Habitability Act, and if anyone in legal profession wants to work with someone on tackling a property management company being slumlords and violating laws and health codes. i am available. When Reggie Stewart should be fired ,being hired as company bully.Company keeps tenants entire security deposits for writing about experiences as tenant. Then send the bully to intimidate you into silence,but impersonates being a cop and in military. They provide no security and that jeopardized my family in building and guest visiting daily. Even when police were called,they couldn't do anything until I was hurt. Rent from someone who don't want your blood on the walls.

Their whole management is wack. The maintenance guy dont pay your rent, just file an assault against him.
