Getting an appointment for a cortisone shot - which I was told I could request every 3 months - is a nightmare. I had to wait over a month past that interval for my last appointment, so I called a month in advance to schedule the next one. I was told they would call to schedule, but have been waiting a month. Yes, I have called during that month to see what the hang up is. Totally unresponsive - no one takes responsibility for the process not working. Every time they say they will be calling me in a day or two to schedule. They do not. Dealing with this is giving me nightmares. The doctor, herself, is nice - her staff is nice - the treatment helps - the facility is beautiful - dealing with a broken system for setting appointments is maddening. I now have my appointment. They finally called within a few days of when I could get another shot (90 days after the last one), but the shot itself is not happening until the end of August. So, a month-and-a-half AFTER I could have one, and two-and-a-half months after I began trying to get the shot scheduled. This is frustrating, as now that I am past the 90 days, the pain in my foot is much greater, and I am unable to walk reliably, so my ability to do things is greatly impaired.

My mom broke both wrists 13-14 years ago and needed surgery on both. Dr Tavacolian did a spectacular job and she has no lingering problems in her wrists. Much more recently she cut her pinkie finger and severed the tendon. Dr Godfrey did an amazing job repairing the tendon, which is a very delicate procedure! We're hopeful that in time she'll be able to play the piano again. She's seeing Amie for physical therapy, and she is kind, thorough, and patient with my mom, who has memory problems.

Only reason 1 star is due to whoever is in charge of sending medical prescriptions for care after surgery. Anyone requiring surgery, keep on mind YOU will be the only one to fight to get the medical supplies needed for patient care. They screw up sending info outside, and this makes patients recovering SUFFER!! Trying to get it on our own still after a month, is BEYOND ridiculous! It's not the medical supply places, nor the insurance. It's all Slocum screwing up! (Everyone that's not in that area is wonderful - but others should be warned. Go somewhere else if you can. Your recovery will suffer.)

Dr Lyle T. Jackson did a below knee amputation that changed my life and Fixed the mistake that Doctors at Portland did. Jackson has been very honest and professional, making me feel more like a friend rather than a patient. I’m a 20 year old amputee. That had battled with the medical system in Portland for over a year, due to the lies that doctors had told me and them walking out of the office when been confronted with the truth. Today I got to say that Dr Lyle Jackson make me believe that there are good Doctors out there. I would not be available to thank him for what he done for me. Thank you doctor Lyle Jackson and Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Yes, many of them do. I don't have Osteoporosis. But, i do have Osteoarthritis and thus far received exceptional care.

Why won’t any personal injury lawyers sue Slocum orthopedics Eugene Oregon?
I don't know FOR SURE, but they've been great with my carpal tunnel injections
You will need to check with your insurance company. It depends on your insurance coverage.
This would be a great question for a doctor!
Slocum helped when my son broke his knee. I can't say for sure, but I am positive this would be a good place to start for hip replacements.
