It's not the building it's the management company VonKlein there just not good ppl. They are not consistent, they lie alot, they'll make everything your fault to cover themselves and they break the law quite often. The apartments are jam packed with ppl, and it's a great place to score illicit substances. Regardless of all that VonKlein shouldn't be in business in Eugene the don't meet the standard we have here of living. Nobody should have to deal with these people if you look at their reviews it tells a story. Where there's smoke there's fire!

Please becareful they will rent to anyone, they will also make sure you lose all your deposits, they will cause you trouble if they dont like you re personality. They are very nice to you at first and they will turn on you in a second if they arent allowed to continue their behavior to the community here in Eugene. Its very unfortunate and they can and could easily ruins peoples livelihoods cause of the upper hand they will utilize against you. Make sure your just a calculating as them, save everything from them and with them.. Be will to go lowan and have NO integrity. They talk to people like ditches/filth on a whim, they are very argumentative until they get you on the defense and again they will put you a scary position if they need to cover themselves. Ive never had anything but pefect rentally history for 30 years and man do they get vindictive

Do not rent from Von Klein. Me and my roommates originally leased a different house that they were unable to give us. We had to switch to a different house last minute that did not have as many parking spots or a garage. The house smelled horrible and the carpets were not cleaned before we moved in. The house reeks and the facilities are horrible. Our windows literally detach from the window sill and let cold air in at all times. You will have to run your heat at all times if you want to stay warm. The toilets have leaked and run over multiple times. Laundry machines are terrible. There will be homeless people in your yard and going through the trash. Additionally, while I had COVID von klein had people touring through my house. I would strongly recommend finding ANY ALTERNATIVE than renting through von klein.

I lived in an apartment with Vin Klein for 6 months. I never received a key to the laundry room because they had given away the master copy at some point. I was told to contact my neighbors myself to make the copy because apparently it wasn’t their problem. The shower control was cracked and broken when I moved in and they charged me for it despite having evidence it was that way. The maintenance guy literally don’t me he didn’t care if I have evidence they would charge me regardless. There was a cooktop from the 50’s that turned on from a soft breeze and was a huge fire hazard. The oven was a separate unit in the wall. I came home one day to maintenance cutting out my counter and cabinets out to add a stove in. I lost a huge amount of counter space and cabinets. I wasn’t warned so my pots and pans etc were full of saw dust. Also some of the cabinets were literally just sealed shut and couldn’t be opened anymore. The oven unit was removed from the wall leaving a huge hole. They never even added shelves to it and it was severely charred apparently from the heat of the oven unit they had removed. The rent price was nice but 10/10 recommend living with a different management company because it isn’t worth it.
