My husband and I intend to do a remodel to a home in south Eugene that we hope to move into someday in the near future. We hired an architect who drew up plans that we had to revise. I have to give 5 stars to Roman who was patient, helpful and immediate with projected expenses as we changed our mind about the remodel specs. Roman has been the BEST part of our experience with this entire experience by a long shot. There is no doubt that we will hire him to do the remodel when everything falls into place for us to continue the project.

We live in a Western Red Cedar log home that was built in 1978 and the kitchen had never been updated. The cabinets were very dark and that made the already dark log home seem even darker. Lighting was always a problem. The cabinets were sagging by 1 ½" in some places, the drawers were really hard to open. The kitchen had clearly seen its day. We had thought a lot about ways to improve lighting, about adding color (no color in a log home -you can’t paint the walls), and about blending Pacific Northwest Design with our lovely cedar. We clearly did not want to have a kitchen that was log cabiny. Budget Builders was one of the contractors that we had called for an estimate based on their previous reviews. When we met Roman, he gave us some great ideas that blended well with our vision. We selected him because of his knowledge, confidence, and pricing. We must confess that the build process was much smoother than we had anticipated. Roman welcomed our input and ideas. When problems came up, Roman’s favorite saying was “it’s not rocket science, we’ll figure it out”. What a great attitude. It always made us feel secure that he would handle it-and he did. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our kitchen. There is finally color in the dark house. The kitchen is sleek without being cold. It is bright and well lit. It still has so much warmth. We would highly recommend Roman and his crew. We would not hesitate to use him for our next project. Thanks so much Roman. Fondly, T&D

Roman and his team are fantastic! They accomplished the unimaginable by removing a load-bearing beam without significant impact to our lives. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the final project and plan to bring them back for an addition and bathroom remodel!

Budget Builders were great. I read the reviews online, they gave me a quote, and selected them to fix my kid's bathroom. By far, the best decision I've made in years. My bathroom turned out great and they work with the home owner meeting expectations. If you want to feel safe in choosing the right contractor/builder, Budget Builders are hands down the best.

Questions & Answers

Hello My husband and I are needing a wall taken down and a beam put in place to open up our Kitchen. Is this something you could do the Beam need to be 17foot. We would also need to remove a door and frame and finish that space for our Refrigerator.

Hello Kimberly, thank you for the question. Although this is work that we could do, we are currently booked out over a year and are not taking on new projects at this time. I would recommend contacting A&J Construction for this work.

Do you work in the Florence/Mapleton area? Do you assemble log cabin kits?

Hello Bruce, yes we do with in that area. If you have a set of plans or information on the kit, please email it to me and I will determine if we have the skill set to assemble it.
