Checked in and 4 1/2 hours later still haven’t seen MD laceration only partially cleaned up. If they would work on finding another way to triage the homeless so the rest of us could be seen it would be great

They used to be good and our experience during our actual appointment was great but we were charged extra bringing up on going health concerns with our new pediatrician at a well child visit. I honestly thought this was the point of a well child visit but I was informed it is only so they can keep up with their vitals and statistic. I no longer trust Peace Health to care for my children or frankly anyone in my family. Its heart breaking that helping families raise healthy children is no longer a primary goal.

I have been to this ER about six times in the past four years, for both myself and others. Not once have I ever escaped this house of nightmares before four hours, even for the simplest reason. My record is currently being in this place for eleven hours. This place is like playing Frogger, except you can’t swim, there are no logs and you have three broken legs. A nurse here once jammed a q tip up my nose, causing me extreme pain, and I heard another nurse tell him that he didn’t need to jam it that hard into me. Why did he do that? I’m sure that the nurses here are perfectly fine people who are overworked and underpaid, but this place actively erodes my faith in the medical profession. I’m not religious, but I pray for the unlucky, lost souls who have to go here. Please just go to the Riverbend hospital, where theres a chance greater than 10 percent that youll make it out with your soul wholly intact.

Have had to come here several times over the years a care has been pretty good. Staff have mostly been professional and compassionate. 2 times care was not good. 1st time was with my nephew who was 6 and had a bacteria infection/diarrhea/severely dehydrated. We had to ask for them to do a stool test multiple times because we live on a farm a suspected that was the issue. They wouldn't listen. Had to retrieve a cup myself and a few days later the test proved we were right and needed the antibiotics. 2nd time was when I had a severe GI issue, pain, constipation, low blood pressure. They just gave me an IV and sent me home. My MAP was 49!! Went to a doctor who prescribed me 13,000mg rifaxamin and cleared up whatever was making me so ill. When is comes to bacterial infections these people are behind. We live in a farming community and unfortunately they are common & stool tests are needed. Hope the 2 situations were learning opportunities and others won't suffer waiting for a competent Healthcare team to treat them. I will end this that we are appreciative of all the other good experiences we had.

The doctors work for eugene physicians. I'm sorry if you were treated poorly.
This platform seems to be more for questions about the location itself, such as offerings, services, or hours and availability. I'd imagine you can take up grievances with a supervisor or more authorotative figure at the hospital.
No
Yes there is a physical therapy rehab unit.
To which Doctor? Their are many there. Different Drs. different fax numbers.
Are there any air b and bus near the hospital?
There are hotels arounda nd they have inexpensive housing (guest house) https://www.peacehealth.org/sacred-heart-riverbend/guest-house
They have a basic ER that you can go to and they can at the very least help you out by finding what direction you need to go through.
