Was passing through with a bicycle emergency. A Google search led me to this shop. Definitely a five-star experience! Every business needs a Colton. He fixed my bike. Thanks Colton.

This is a really great shop. They have helped me out many times and always done a great job. I got a bike fit from Fred a couple months ago in preparation for a 720 mile off road bike race. Fred's attentiveness to the details, willingness to listen and experience was one off the charts great. And the proof is in the riding - I rode 720 hard off road miles in less than 6 days with no repetitive strain injuries.

Stopped in on a road trip to get our bikes looked at for a few quick fixes and Henry helped us and was great. He explained what the problem was for each bike and how I can fix them in the future. You can tell Henry loves what he does and very knowledgeable. Although we probably won’t be back I would highly recommend this shop. Clean and super helpful staff!!

January 24, 2021 Update This bike continues to be by far the funnest bike or motorcycle I have ever spent time on in 50+ years of riding. It will go as hard as I dare. Over fours of almost weekly riding I am on my second set of tires, brake disks, gear cassette, chain, and one shifting cable but other than that I have had zero issues. It has never left me stranded and the work above has been done when I bring it in for a an annual checkup. Purchased a 2017 demo Levo Turbo full suspension mountain bike fall 2017. The owner and manager carefully fitted it, added front and rear racks, quality lights, and a handlebar riser. The bike makes me smile every time I ride it. I have been riding dual sport 250 motorcycles for the last 10 years and find this bike to be more maneuverable, giving, less wild under difficult terrain, and lot easier to lift off me. It is the funnest bike I have ever owned and I have had many including mountain, hybrid, cruiser, and recumbent. Ten years ago I gave them all up and went to motorcycles yet this bike lets me go back to pedaling. At 55, when I ride it I do not have the torqued back, achy knees, cramped hips, or and sore neck and arms after riding. The assist when you pedal seems to keep the workout on your muscles and not tearing apart my joints. I will be buying a second one soon so friends, kids, and grand kids can ride it. More smiles per dollar than most any other things I have spent money on in the last many years. June 2018 I continue to prefer time on my Levo over my dual sport. Not only is it quieter, smells better, does not squish me if it falls on me, but I also find I can manage more difficult terrain than on either a dirt bike motorcycle or regular mountain bike. The Turbo allows me to not be almost out of control as I might be trying to power a regular mountain bike, and also allows me to go very slowly through very technical areas, unlike my off-road motorcycle. A hardtail Turbo Levo has also join me so that others, including my my grand-kids, can keep up with me. November 2018 Update Over the last year I have had more fun on this bike and rate it one of my favorite things to do for recreation. I am 55+ years old and find my feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders, wrists, and neck do not bounce and recover like they did years ago. As a result, my ability to backpack, hike, and even walk more than a few miles is limited. This Turbo Levo has allowed me to get off road, back country, tour, and just ride again. I bought a twin to my main bike in October 2018 as I found anyone who tried to keep up with me on the hardtail bike on rough roads took a bit of beating. The full suspension softens it up and makes riding dirt roads and trails no problem. I still have a dual sport motorcycle that was my main explore vehicle prior to buying this bike. Anymore, it is mostly parked as this bike allows me to hear the wind, creeks, rivers, birds, and animals and is much easier to get off me if it happens to fall on me. Maintenance has been limited to resealing the tires about every 6 months. Recycle did a complete check and adjust last month and replaced my chain all in about an hour. I have had zero problems over the last year. Spring 2019 Update - Bike has been bullettproof reliable with 0 issues. It rides superb, still allows me to do things I would otherwise not be able to do, and makes me smile. On this trip it collected mud and dirt from WA, OR, NV, UT, and ID. Unfortunately, it may have to wait until November when it gets a rest until it gets washed. My observation is a clean bike just attracts more dirt, so I might as well not worry about it as long as everything works. Also bought second identical but medium frame version last fall. Once again, Recycle Bicycle Shop had it ready to roll. It is the one I have to let anyone else ride that wants to go with me. Otherwise, there is no way they can keep up. Everyone who has ridden is amazed at how easy and fun they are to ride.

Do you rent bicycles? Do you have bike maps of the Cle Elum to Ellensburg and Ellensburg to Yakima bike routes? Would you mail them to me? Gary 710 N. Aurora, Tacoma WA 98406

Hi Gary, We do not rent bicycles. We have some routes that we often use for cycling events here locally, but they are not bicycle specific routes. One route most people use to get from Cle Elum to Ellensburg is the Cascade to Palouse trail previously known as the Iron Horse John Wayne trail. Ellensburg to Yakima we would recommend to take the Yakima canyon down to Selah. Any other question feel free to give us a call.
