This is another hidden gem in the middle of Orange county. We enjoyed the bobcat trail within the reserve. It has lots of shade through out that made the trek very enjoyable.

Great trail that is hidden away. It is a single track for the most part when you start at the bottom, Poppy. This is also a good trail for Gravel bike or Mountain bike but be warned you can only ride it in one direction and that is up. Right now it is beautiful and really green.

The Buck Gully Reserve is an absolutely beautiful location for sunset photos, and casual walks or runs along groomed pathways and hiking trails from morning and into the evening. Sunsets views are some of the best in Orange County Convenient parking which gets very busy during the sunset viewing hours. Arrive early and enjoy the sun throughout its colorful setting over the Pacific Ocean horizon.

Loved the walk. It's definitely not a difficult hike but you do have some slight up hills here and there... it's nice to see some areas with water running.. the hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed it

No dogs allowed on the trails. Leashed or otherwise. You can walk down the sidewalk next to the gully. There are signs at the entrances that say it is a protected bobcat habitat, so no dogs at all.

Yes, but keep your eyes and ears open. You share the trail with bikes and it can get narrow in spots.
