Well, to speculate, it's probably just because of when the place was built (it's quite an old restaurant) and how uneasy it is for that building itself to make the relevant changes. The doors should be big enough, however, for someone to hold open while a wheelchair enters. So to that extent, it is handicapped friendly (and there are designated handicapped spots right next to Joseph's). Sadly, there's no access to the lower floor (bathrooms) from the upper floor—as far as I know, anyway!—so just keep that in mind if you do attend with a wheelchair.

Yes, they will be open on Thanksgiving and have reservations from 3pm to 7pm. They have a Thanksgiving menu available on their website. This is where my family will be enjoying Thanksgiving dinner.
