Excellent BYOB place with great Italian dishes. The burrata, scallops, and seafood ravioli were fantastic and the limoncello moscarpone dessert was a perfect end to the meal.

Burrata is a quaint and cozy BYOB restaurant located in a quite but lively neighborhood tucked away in south Philly. We had such an amazing dinner with our parents here! Reservations are suggested. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house all night and now we know why! For starters… Fresh sesame bread was served with an olive oil and vinegar combination. Our family started with 3 appetizers. The beet and arugula salad, burrata decorated with roasted bell peppers and a fig balsamic glaze, and the breaded and baked smoked Gouda special. All three were perfectly prepared and presented. The friendly and knowledgeable wait staff kept our water glasses full and we never had to wait to have our table cleared. Place settings were refreshed after each course. We decided to try 4 different entrees for the main course. The truffle mushroom gnocchi was the best gnocchi we’ve ever had! It melted in your mouth. The lobster and crab raviolis were bursting with savory flavors. The rigatoni was so fresh and delicious. Each bite, I was silently whispering “wow” to myself. And last, but certainly not least, the fettuccine with shrimp and a light cream sauce! It’s a simple yet elegantly classic dish here. We highly recommend everything we had. For dessert, we tried the limoncello cake with a light semi-sweet whipped icing topped with black raspberry drizzle. We also had the pistachio ice cream. 3 scoops was enough to share between 4 people. Both desserts were the perfect way to end the evening! Date night, first date, family night, or girls night out? We highly recommend making reservations with Burrata today!

Most delicious food and a delightful experience at this philly local restaurant. We had seafood stufato, lamb shank, house pasta. For dessert we tried cream brûlée and all the food is fresh & authentic. Absolutely top notch. I will be going back again and again to this place.

An adorable and authentic Italian affair! Burrata has done a wonderful job in designing a cozy BYOB eatery with a variety of flavorful dishes to please any diner that sets foot in its inviting dining room. I visited here on my birthday last month. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I ordered a couple light appetizers (cauliflower and a salad), delicious. And for the main courses, my partner and I sampled the truffle gnocchi, spinach fettuccine, and the chicken Milanese. Everything was wonderful, fresh and hot, as it should be. The dessert was my favorite part, not by far though! The crème brûlée was so creamy and rich, and the perfectly caramelized sugar crust was the “icing on the cake” so to speak. I hope to return, until then, good luck, Burrata!
