Husband wife camp host she’s is amazing yet pretty lazy and wouldn’t clean one of the cabins so we could rent 2 instead of 1 that was just annoying otherwise she was lovely to deal with he is a rude jerk! No pets in cabins and Normal pet rules everywhere else. nice showers and bathrooms they are clean. Stayed in spot 20 most Secluded camper spot. Friends rented a cabin number 2 which was perfect and proved to be great to have a shower and bathroom to yourself a s closer to the water but just a small trail to the camper site made it convenient to come and go between the two . Smokey now but usually isn’t. Lots of blackberries to pick and eat saw some deer while here right in the park. Waters warm just to muddy on shore for my liking. Like quicksand In some spots. Had a blast on our sea dos and jet skis! Kids enjoyed themselves! Store is bout 15 mins away. Campground has tent sites rv a sites with full hookups and camper as well. Tent sites look lovely well kept yet very woodsy feeling. Quite ao and from the water so bring it all in one trip to avoid unnecessary hot sweetly Trips. Easy to find easy to navigate. Will come back next year for sure. Small park for kids here is convening too. Lots of exploring to be done here too! Birds will get into everything here so put it away or you’ll have a mess. Wild turkeys are everywhere here don’t be startled! Prices are same most everywhere we go And here one cabin was about 65$

The Camp Host on 4-17-21/4-18-21 was the rudest host my family and I have came across! Very unpleasant to talk to. She refused to speak to any campers until after 10 a.m. she refused to put toilet paper in the potty- it was still empty when we left at noon on Sunday. We were in tents and the spots are small but beautiful. We had a spot right next to a stream and we loved listening to it. Our camping neighbors were very nice and we all seemed to get along great 😆 especially since we all had at least one thing in common A HORRIBLE CAMP HOST! My 6 yr old son loved the playground ❤ We would only be going back after the host is replaced.

Questions & Answers

Do I need reservations?

Catherine Moser | Jul 20, 2022

Yes, you need a 2 night reservation but if you just drop in and there is one open you can rent a cabin for the night. Don't forget they're a shell so pack your pillows and all the rest. Nice shells though. You can see the single nights open so give it a shot.

I was there yesterday and didn't see any fires going but I also didn't see anything about not having one. It would probably be best to call the county parks department.

Yes - full hookups. Don't stay in the spaces next to the restrooms. Not level at all. 5,6,7 and 8 are the best or the pull thru's in the front. Best to make Reservations.
