Truly loved my first visit at the city gate. Came through the front door ravenously hungry and the first person I see was a very nice man asking if I would like a cup of coffee! I said please yes. He said we have a lot of food here this morning so you will not be leaving hungry! I new at that moment I had been blessed by God. The man said the moment you see an open seat just go sit down and food will be following right after. So on a Saturday morning at 8 am. From the moment I stepped foot in the door till I had food at my table 'with another fresh cup of awesome coffee' was less than 10 minutes. Pancakes, sausage and eggs. It was the best thing so far this year. I will never forget that and will be forever grateful for this wonderful establishment and those who worked with love to rid of hunger for whoever walked in the door, God bless you! Amen!!!

Wonderful place where they feed the homeless for free. The food is a full course meal with salads and bread for the appetizer, soup (the day I went at least) that is made from scratch and was absolutely delicious!! And two cookies for the desert. The place was amazingly warm and cozy inside and beautifully lit. When you go in and sit down they bring the individual servings out to you with either water or coffee to drink. When you put your dishes in the cleaning sink they have you can sit back down and get another helping brought out to you if you are still hungry. It's a great place where people in the city can volunteer to give back to the community and really make those less fortunate feel a little bit better, a little bit warmer and help the people who can't get food daily feel a lot less starved and help the lost feel less hopeless even if it's just for a few moments.
