We visited this park today as the Shilloto Park's playground was under construction. It was a bit confusing to find as it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by homes and beautiful trees. The park was clean and my son had a good time playing at their playground. We will be visiting again soon.

Nice trail for short walks. Sits in middle of houses. Has playset, bb goals, tennis and porter potty. Also has nice open field which is great for ball practices. What I love most is all the squirrels and birds.

A good park for what it is. Nestled in the middle of Wyndham Downs, between Copperfield and Clemens. Good asphalt track for running, with plenty of terrain which is good for cross country training. The distance is weird though, it's more than an exact mile so it's hard to keep track of your distance. The playground is pretty good for its size, nothing special. Small pavilion with some picnic tables. There's a basketball court and two tennis courts which are awesome now that they were resurfaced a few years ago. There's many trees, good for climbing and shaded areas. There's also an open grass field with more than enough space for baseball/soccer/football/whatever you need. There's several large hills around the park that are great for sledding in the winter too. There used to be a great wooded area too that follows the South Elkhorn Creek but most of that has been removed by a newly constructed road. Some of the wooded area is still there but it is no longer attached to the park and is now much less secluded. There's about a dozen parking spots in the front of the park as well. Overall Waverly Park is great for what it needs to be, a smaller park and green space within a suburban neighborhood.

The paved path is about 5 ft. wide and is .7 miles around. It has a couple of steep hills and some gentle slopes, some of it is shaded by lots of trees, and other parts get full sun. Great for jogging or peaceful strolls.
