Provided poo bags, 3 waste bins, and one watering station in both the big and small dog park. Shaded parking.

Not a lot of shade on the trails, but Coldstream Park is still really nice. I definitely recommend taking your bike.

Really like the location and layout of the park. Our fav. Park to visit. Legacy trail makes it even better

Coldstream Park is a cozy, quiet (..and surprisingly so considering it's proximity to Newtown Pike near the I64 on/off ramps and Newtown Pike/Citation Dr) and relatively open park on the Northside of Lexington, offering walking trails, and tons of scenic beauty around a gorgeous man-made pond in it's center. Although it's nuzzled back in a difficult to reach area, due to that the traffic at all times at the park is generally light, and it also has a parking lot that makes dropping by and getting out from a walk, quick and frustrating-free. It's a great place to relax and even kill some time if Newtown Pike is very busy! 4/5 ☆'s! Only 4 ☆'s simply due to the lack of attractions besides the natural stream and walking trails! Gorgeous park, and another gem of Lexington!

No. There is water there, but I would not let my dog swim. There is not much movement in the ponds so algae builds up. I take my dog to Jessamine or Woodford Counties to swim. Places like Elkhorn Creek, Clear Creek, Sugar Creek.
5\3 building is barely visible, but fireworks should be
