Looked it up says it's open then get there lights on sign on people working ,had made sign taped to door as people try to get in finally read this wow, says power is out closed , obviously the power was not out and lying about it makes safeway as a hole look bad 🙄

I love Safeway! I just think they should sell more gluten-free items, that aren't jacked up in price. COME ON! There is no way 1 loaf of Franz gluten-free white bread should cost $7.99. It is made right here in Coos Bay!!! Then the higher-prices - I am on a fixed income. I need to either eat and walk or drive and be hungry. Please don't raise the pricea because you can. I realize you are in it to make profits but just cut the profits down a bit...please.

I've been traveling to Oregon coast eating at Safeway in multiple locations for the last 11 years. This last year has always seemed to be a problem when I arrive for my breakfast burrito. I've had issues with opinions on masks. But most Recently I feel like the burritos are not made as well with the quantity of product used for the price. The gal checked her watch this last time Assuming it was past 11 ready to turn me down, I know this because I have arrived just past 11 just a couple weeks ago and even though they have all the ingredients in front of them for it they refuse to serve. Bummer cause I loved the Deli.

This is a forum to ask other customers about their experiences with the business. You need to call the store to get specifics on what they carry or services they offer.
They are not answering phones due to the increased customers. You need to go in and wait in line.

Interesting question. Im not sure. However they do have very unique and diverse selection of products. Much like market of choice. I would call customer service or take a shopping trip with an open mind and maybe find something new. Happy hunting!
As far as i know all locations with a deli offer Chinese food. It is the american version of it though. Not terribly authentic in my opinion. Eat up and enjoy!

I know it's frustrating when you wait too long but if you have any problems at Safeway you should go to the service customer desk
I guess I am confused. When they don't have a product they give you a raincheck. If you believe they are not going to get the product, then you should talk to the manager. I have spoken with the manager on numerous occasions. He takes outages very seriously. Your raincheck is good for 90 days. If you don't see the product within 10 days, talk to someone. It may be that there was a mistake on ordering or a ski number is wrong. No I don't work for Safeway. I would like to, but I can't lift anything more than 10 pounds due to problems with my back. Think of it this way. If you don't let them know there's a problem, how will they know?

I feel this would be a great question for the management of the florence Safeway itself. I have been there many times over the years and have had no problems. When you visited them you may have caught them on a day when someone was sick and they didn't have a back up to cover for them. I'm sure management would be able to answer best of all! Safeway itself does not. But in the past at times Starbucks has had a small espresso machine for sale, if that works for you.
