Not bad, if you're on a budget. usually 2-3xs a month I spend for a night. As you can see by the photos it's got some room for a single person. Since it's my first night I'm guessing all the beds are either queen or king, mine is a king I believe. it's basically a studio apartment so I gave it only three stars because I haven't been before. Update; (next day) I found a couple other things that definitely put up a RED FLAG. First I believe as I've said in previous reviews of motels and hotel's, the most important part of staying at motels is the bathroom. This one in particular had me taking one star away, the shower water never went above lukewarm making it unpleasant and nothing they had nothing to prevent a person from slipping or hurting themselves. I understand them doing some type of maintenance but when I came back from celebrating my birthday I noticed someone had been there because the face of the AC was sitting in front of it.

Not good at all very poor service and impolite and the Cleaning crew will just unlock your door and walk in on you even though you've already paid for your room they'll just walk in on you anyway and it's very out of line

I visited friends who were staying at the motel. The A/C didn't work and neither did the hot water. When the person at the front desk was notified when my friend went to pay for another night & asked if they could be moved to another room. He was informed that yes those things did work and no not only would he not move then to a different room, the manager told them since it was check out time they would be checking out and their names added to the DO NOT RENT list unless they procurred a new Micheal Kors purse for the owners/managers wife free of charge of course at such time they would be removed from the list. Another set of friends stayed there about 18 mis ago woke in the middle of the night feeling something weird in or on the bed. Turning on the light flipping over the bed they were aghast to see hundreds if not thousands of bed bugs. When confronting the owner/manager about the bed bugs and asking for a refund, the owner refused stating there was no bugs before my friends came that night. Which there is no way they brought that many bed bugs with them. That many bed bugs were well established in that room long before my friends rented the room. It seems to be the policy of the Del Rancho to treat complaints in a hostile manner blaming the customers for their lack of cleanliness and broken basic amenities. Going so far as to expel customers and ban them from ever returning unless a expensive 'gift' is given. Such as a very expensive designer purse. The room are also way over-priced it's ridiculous. $100 a day plus $25 tax no break given if you stay multiple nights. The rooms are small and dingy the clientele seems to be centered on transient people those w/o a permanent place including hookers and drug dealers. The owners/managers turn a blind eye to those goings on. Probably paid too. Needless to say my friends left and went up 82nd to Aaron's Motel which was better priced and the rooms where we'll cleaned and the staff very friendly.

The rooms here are very large and comfortable.plenty of storage for clothing and or food. you can pick from all types of rooms like a single room to a room with separate bedroom, front room / kitchen , and large bathroom. . The rooms are all really clean and fresh.. On top of that the owners/management there are the best of people.very warm and genuinely friendly to their guest. They have a gentle, pleasant way of getting to know the guest there. I watched the owner outside shooting baskets with some kids , even invited me and my friend to share some Indian cuisine prepared by his family, which was totally a treat of epic proportions. I still go there often and we feel like old friends and welcomed warmly everytime. The rates are really competitive for Portland a few bucks cheaper than most low priced chains and definitely more bang for buck when putting the large but modern rooms with excellent management and fun surroundings of the area. Definitely my first choice of places to stay..
