Gate was locked when we got there after a 10 hour drive! Never seen a park do that with camping. Getting a refund was easy however and staff was friendly.

It's so amazing! Great place for bbqing, swimming and even fishing. It had the perfect swimming area for the whole family

Beautiful campground if you can see past all of the spiders that take up residence in every nuck and cranny possible.and don't turn on any lights after dark unless you want and infestation of bugs around you. We stayed in site 7 and one of the sprinklers were broken so it just flooded our tent. The bathroom was clean but only 1 shower stall for 32 campsites. Swimming area was clean but the water was pretty nasty and we weren't sure if this family lived there or not but they ran my niece and nephew off the play ground and the bathroom at the swimming hole they were there the whole time we were camping other wise the gate attendants were super nice. Oh and there was a friendly bull frog that would love to take a shower with you as well.

Lovely park. We stopped here on the way to Idaho. Kids enjoyed the swimming area. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Only problem was the sprinklers got the kids tent water. It was super funny afterwards but not at the time. Especially when it was 12:30 in the morning. Make sure you ask where the sprinkles are. Great camp hosts! 😃

Of course! Dogs must be kept on a leash and there’s plenty of shade :)
It says there's no sites available at this time but to call to be put on a waiting list. FYI take bug spray there's alot of bugs mostly spiders and moths but there's a bunch of them.
$16 or half that with a national park pass.
No, it's an Army Corps of Engineers Park go to their website seemed really reasonable.,
Contact the campgrounds host, if they don't know, I would check out the Core of Engineers Office on the Orgeon side, just East of Umtilla.
They run about 4 at night. The most noise comes from the tugs pushing the barges. If they are going up river, you cant ignore them at all
Yes. We have camped there a few times with our 2 Boxers. If you don't need hookups, grab their group nonelectric site on the river, and you can let your dogs run free
