I wanted to find a new place to walk the dogs. Turner Lake is not the place. The walking path only goes for a short distance. If you want to walk around the lake you have to go through a new housing area that has zero shade. Bring sunscreen. The plus was there wasn't scetchy people around and the breeze off the lake was nice.

It's a nice park! $5 for parking $10 on the weekend. They do rent paddle boards there for $20 an hour. Not too many covered picnic areas, but there are spaces where you can set up you own canopies.

Fishing was okay this day. They have been stocking the lake lately with some good size trout !

I have no idea what the exact depth is but it's VERY deep. Walking out a few feet it drops very drastically.
I've been there a half dozen times in the last month and have yet to see any trash in the lake or on the banks. Its as clean as it gets.
Yes. Lots of people bring their dogs. I think they have to be on a leash but yes!
No the lake isn't stocked yet, but may be on the list next year.
Not sure, but the Police in Turner Suck, stay away from that place, unless you like being harassed by police for wearing gloves, and told you have to take your covid mask off, when they don't wear a mask and get uncomfortably close, while trying to intimidate you.

Yes you can fish but I suggest you stay clear of the public access points.
I think so. I saw some with poles walking but not casting. There are limited access points to the water. Where the ramps are it's too busy to fish. Maybe kayak fishing would be best.
They do have some for rent. Thursday through Sunday offered by a third party starting at about 11 am. I think the rentals start about $10 per hour.
