The gym is clean, the staff is friendly, broken machines get fixed pretty swiftly. Some of the leather on the machines is torn but that's more a testament to the way the community treats the machines. I love that they are open 24 hrs on weekdays, wish it was on weekends too but I'll take what I can get. A no-frills gym but thats what you get at Planet Fitness and that's okay.

Better covid safety messures then some locations, but older equipment. I've been to many different locations. They don't get too busy like some, which is good if you are worried about covid but I prefer Saugus.

This location defeats the purpose of paying EXTRA for a black card. I purchase the card specifically because of the location flexibility. However, this club dictates you have to tan on nunberoud occasions before they'll allow you anything more than 3 minutes. Things like this make me question wether or not I should even keep paying for a membership at PF.

I went to the gym on 03/20/22 to cancel my registration and presented my passport to the receptionist. The receptionist issued a cancellation agreement from another customer and charged me a $59 fee. As soon as I received the cancellation receipt I informed him that the contract was not mine because the customer's name was different. He kept talking to the manager to get my refund and he didn't get back to me. I had to go back to the gym and explain the case again to the receptionists who took my phone number and said the manager would text me to inform about the refund. Again I went to the gym and was told that it was not possible to speak with the general manager because he was hospitalized. My question is, how long will I have to wait for a refund for a contract that wasn't mine?

Not playground type, but they have a little relaxing area with few chairs and tables.
Its easy, simply stop by there and ask for it. They will ask you couple of questions (like name and address) to fill out a membership form and you are all set. Enjoy fitness!!

The YMCA has a steam room, a sauna and a hot tub. Planet Fitness does not have such amenities.
There are weights and machines that will provide what you need for the two exercises.
Black card is 20 a month and you can bring a guest anytime and u can go to any location everytime. 10 a month is ur basic membership one location
