This is a short hike. About 1.5 miles from the parking lot to submit and back. There are a lot of interconnected trails. Everything is well marked and maintained. There is a fee to enter.

Cool place. Lots of trails, a few scenic spots and plenty of maps along the way. I went here because I thought there was a fire tower at the summit. I guess not. I still enjoyed it. Great views at the scenic overlook. Can see all the way to Cousins Island in Yarmouth and the Eastern Prom in Portland.

Had a 3 day stopover last minute and Bradbury was great! Easy hiking trails, quiet and the park rangers are amazing. Ten minutes from Freeport shopping and the Desert of Maine. Super clean facilities, the sites were spacious and LOVED they had a section that had a coffee maker and microwave. It made traveling with a two year old accommodating. A must stop for a New England road trip!

All dry camping.
I think I paid $16 and change for one night. That price was per site not per camper.

I don't think you can take horses on the park trails. I've never seen a horse on the trails. Someone walking a goat, but never a horse. Check on the state's web site.
Pay as you enter. Pay per person, not per vehicle. If you get there early, nobody is at the entrance to collect the free
I would guess that Steep Falls Wildlife Management Area (off Rt. 113 and Rt. 11) would suffice.
