Detweiller Marina is now open as of May 2021. I have rented a slip for the season. 309 properties is the managing company. The water and electricity is on. Reopening the marina is work in progress. Prices are reasonable.

This use to be a Marina but it's really not anymore. There is really nothing to do there. The park district use to oversee it but they don't anymore. I really see no reason to visit this place.

We went boating with the family here yesterday ,it was well kept and not too populated which I enjoy.It has a small park and BBQ pits,also plenty of pick-nic tables, over all I enjoyed the scenery the only problem I had was the bathrooms where locked and I have two small children so I had to go all the way back home to let the go.
