Nice walking trail. Well kept park

This park is beautiful, with two ponds and a river, and it is large, perfect for gatherings or just a day out. The two baseball fields are well-maintained, and the paths are great for running (about a km, if you do a full loop). The shelters are great for bbq and events. The soccer field could be better, it's not super level and there's no lines, but it's still great to play. A basketball court would definitely improve the park. The playground is great for kids. It's really cool to see the memorials throughout the park to veterans, and I love what they did to the newly renovated front entrance. Excellent. The celebrations there on July 4 and Memorial Day are fun.

My first time there was yesterday. I attended a balloon release with a friend who recently lost her uncle. I did get a chance to walk around the perimeter for a little exercise. Truthfully one time around was more than enough. The park is a very nice size. Next time I would like to maybe have on lighter clothing. The park is clean and well maintained. Bathroom area is clean.
