South!! Store to shop need more inventory but it's not there fault

I drove 40 minutes to get an igloo cooler that was supposedly in stock. According to their website they had two of them. The employees were very nice, which is the only reason I didn't give it one star, as they admitted the store hadn't done an inventory in over 18 months and it was very normal that their systems would say they had stuff when they didn't and sometimes would even say they didn't have stuff when they did. The store looked like a bomb went off with most aisles a mess or with empty shelves. Probably the worst part is that they have no process for deleting the two missing coolers from their inventory, which means others may very well experience the same thing I did, even for the two missing coolers, let alone everything else which inventory is inaccurate.

For the last 3 years this store has been literally empty of boating necessities such as electrical components. I gave them a hall pass last year due to covid but there’s no excuse now the place is empty — literally isles of pegs and shelves EMPTY… Before you waste your time — I’d call this store ahead before making a special trip…

Bring lots of evidence if you plan on using price match. Found a seat online that I wanted and came here since they had it in stock. I found the seat in the store that was the exact seat. However it had been repackaged with the west marine name on it (see pictures below, you can see the actual brand name behind the blue mesh. Sorry I couldn't pull down the mesh any more w/o breaking the stitching). I brought it to the register with both the link from amazon and their online store. Here's the fun part. I showed them the amazon pricing which was the lowest. Their website showed a different (higher) price and the actual product had even a higher price on it. The cash register told me this was West Marine brand and tried not too honor the price match, even with the actual brand name branded in the seat (actual brand is Surf to Summit). Fortunately the manager was there and had some common sense. So buyer beware know that West Marine repackages other brands products as their own. I do thank the manager and another employee who helped me out. Unfortunately I forgot their names but they were helpful. Btw if anyone is wondering the seat itself is a surf to summit gts expedition kayak seat.

They look good just like anyplace else 6 feet apart and have to wear a mask
Not really sure if you can just cover them up... sounds like sanding and reapplying the gelcoat...
