Amazing food and amazing service. We hate one of their Octopus of the day appetizer, the scallop with arugula pasta and the pork chop special. The pictures say more than any words could. The presentation was as great as the food. We ended it with the chocolate crepe with caramelized bananas and candied bacon dessert.

Came in for drinks, decided to try some local cheeses as well. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! Extremely professional all around. The cheese plate was delicious!

Every bite of every dish was wonderfully flavored and we enjoyed it so much. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious, the Foie Gras was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and the duck was cooked perfectly. DESSERT was the best ending- warm chocolate pudding cake with butter Pecan Gelato. Pics were only remembered after a bite or two- sorry not sorry! From the minute we walked in the door, the staff at Primo were so welcoming, professional, & attentive. Top notch, always!

This was one of my top 3 dining experiences ever. The food was amazing, to say the least. We were able to eat at our own pace without feeling rushed, and we were able to enjoy every last bite. People wait hours in line on the "walk-in" list; reservation strongly recommended. We had made our reservation almost 2 months in advance. It was well worth the anticipation. Save room for dessert!

Make sure to call well ahead for reservations.
My 10 year old loved the menu, but he's a foodie and has always been very well behaved at restaurants. Children should be able to sit at a table for a long time and enjoy themselves, otherwise you should leave them at home.
It does say on the website under the tab about and primo Rockland. That the last day of the season is January 7th, 2018
It's Maine, we're not too fussy about these things. You'll be fine.
Primo will begin their 20th season tomorrow, May 3, 2019 in Rockland. The restaurant is open from 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday.
They are open all year except for a short break during the winter lasting a few weeks. Not sure about the 2019 schedule.
Normal evening dinner would be appropriate. It's Maine!
Not for the lounge, but showbup early or you may be waiting a while.
They are very busy in the Summer season. But they try to accommodate everybody. Whatever the wait it is well worth it.
Closed Monday and tuesday
I agree. CALL the restaurant. Remember: for the most part, this is a seasonal restaurant.
New year's day, they put on a brunch (the only time they do this) and close after that for the winter.
