Amazing little place. Something for kids and adults to enjoy. Interactive, educational. Maeve was excellent at providing information, answering questions and promoting awareness for endangered birds. Best place for unique puffin merchandise. We live over 10 hour drive away, came to Maine specifically to see the puffins and the visitor center only added to the excitement!

Very cute shop in the front, and the puffin prints lead you down the hall through a small art gallery to the back room where you can learn about the puffin project itself and watch a short film and even live footage of the puffins they were able to bring back to the area!

There is no admission fee, although free will donations are always accepted!
Plenty of open spaces in the middle of the day on the side streets off of Main. That's what we did when we visited a few days ago.
The museum is free to enter, but they do have a gift shop so that you can help support their research
