Always friendly and helpful service, decent prices, and they deliver! I'm always surprised to find the prices are competitive with the big box stores. The folks at Spear's, especially Chris or Lincoln or Spencer, are always friendly, and I'm grateful. Need to understand how something works, what the best tool for a task is? Just ask. Need something ordered, loaded into your car, or delivered? This is the place. It's worth mention that Spears' prices are competitive with Lowe's and the Depot. A twitch higher but the quality of the word and lumber is much better.

They have helped me out with suggestions for small projects in the past. I needed quality wood for trim carpentry. Big box stores were cheaper, but I would have wasted a lot because of the poor quality. Very happy with quality and service at E.L. Spear.

I've been buying paint for our house remodel at E L Spear and I was thrilled Alex could make farrow and Ball colors. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I also got a few bags of manure and I'm sure my plants will be happy. Oh yea and glass for our window rehab. I look forward to shopping at this store!
