We purchased a John Deere 500 mower 6 years ago from Hammond. It’s been a real work horse for us. This past weekend the belt went off the track on the deck and when I contacted Joseph in Service, he said he would send a service person out hopefully by Tuesday. It was fixed by noon on Monday. Gotta say, after changing management to United Ag and Turf (and even before) these guys have given me a lot of headaches for the past couple years. Recently tried to buy multiple things from them and ended up in Fairfield for one and Union Farm for the other because the salesman stopped responding to me...and everything I own is Deere. I still trust them for service when I have enough time to let it sit there for a couple weeks. The service guys are nice. But I will say it is not my favorite place to deal with or buy stuff from. Update 12/21: I am changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. Despite the past headaches I have had with this store, they made a genuine attempt to make it better. They talked to me and listened to my grievances, gave me a discount on my lawn mower service, and delivered it back to my house for free. Despite everything, I am happy with how they handled the situation. Going forward, I will surely be back.

I love stopping into the Union location! I have for years, since it was Hammond Tractor and love talking to Dave Bryant! Even though he is a GM he is still accessible and always makes time to humor my conversation. Highly Recommend this company even though my salesman no longer works there. The people make it a great place to go....
