Great customer service. Has a little bit of just about anything you might need in hardware and more. Very convenient for people in Union, Hope, Appleton... so we don't have to go all the way to Rockland or Thomaston.

Union True Value is one of my personal favorite True Values in the area and possibly in Maine. The owner is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. His wife is also involved and she is super kind and friendly to everyone that comes in. If they don't have what you need at the moment, they can certainly help you get what you need one way or another. Not only does Union True Value have tons of hardware, they have various house supplies as well as decorations. Pretty much, Union True Value is one of the stores that if they don't have it, you don't need it. They really have a little bit of everything. Great service and great quality stock of items. Another pretty awesome thing about this True Value is that they celebrate Christmas in a awesome way. They will set up lots of decorations outside the store and use one of their sheds as a great display for a manger and celebrating Jesus. Even if this isn't your type of gig, the customer service is outstanding and also helpful for anything you need. Lastly, they do offer different snacks in the store that are unique. They will occasionally have fudge, nuts, and other unique sweets that anyone could enjoy. It is hard for me to say my favorite part of the store because they really have a great variety but like I said, the customer service is really where it is at.

This is a great True Value store. Everything you need as in all the franchise items and then some unique items as well. The attached gift store is great with great quality gifts and an upstairs full of crafting/scrapbooking supplies, kids toys and more. Staff/owners are so very friendly. I love going in each and every time.
