It's like Scott, who's a fine man, actually wants the Crips and Bloods and other dangerous flotsam to go there, make scenes, and give the proverbial middle-finger to bourgeois values. As everyone knows, he and his Wife employ some very impolite, hostile individuals, and those persons loudly enjoy easy rapport with those very bad individuals whenever the latter types enter the store. Nearly all of the people that have been a semi-regular presence outside of that store ((frequently on its doorstep!) have kept Scott and his Wife from enjoying the better reputation that they've deserved since that area of Bangor became an unpleasant place in the latter 1990s. .

Some neighborhood history. Went in after about 20 year last week. Amazing.. same faces. Was like I ordered my ham Italian just last night lol. But I was tired and not hungry so I didn't get one even though Scott offered to make me one. I love old store. Lots of memories. Was nice seeing Butch again too... nice memory old man. ❤

Don't judge a book by its cover truly applies here. The deli makes great sandwiches and Scott Ledbetter is THE MAN! I always come here for coffee and adult essentials.
