I was on a Shore Excusrion in port that was part of the Acadia National Park and Lobster Bake. The food was great, but the service lacked. I ended up getting water spilled down my leg by the wait staff. Luckily, I was able to jump out of my seat to miss most of the spill. I imediately ran to the bathroom to dry up as much as I could. When I came back to my seat, he was no where to be seen. My glass of water was standing upright with what little water he could catch before I left for the restroom. I hunted him down and ask why he didn't at least get me another glass of water. He didn't seemed too concern with my plea, so I proceeded to ask for the manager. He was able to track her down and then tried to leave. I had to ask him to stay to describe the situation to his manager. He mumbled briefly at what happened and the manager didn't seem too concerned either. She was also not very apologetic and defended the server by saying that he was busy with trying to dry me off. I explained that I went directly to the restroom and that he didn't assist with drying me off. She then blurted out what do you want for me to do for you? Since, I paid for the shore excursion from the cruise line, I couldn't ask for money back or a discount on my next visit. I just dropped it there, since there was nothing else I could ask for to rectify the situation. I just wished they were more concerned with their guests and the experience and they is why I dropped off 2 stars. What I've always say is bad situations happen and I get that. I just rate people, and businesses, how they deal with these situation and this was so poorly dealt with it drove me to write a review online, which I've never done.
