Wonderful ferry service. We arrived late, just as the ferry pulled away, and they waited for us. The agent helped us park, we got tickets and were able to make the 10 o’clock ride to Isle Au Haut. The crew was so kind and informative. Wonderful experience! I was impressed and very grateful!

Despite fog, boat trip to Isle au Haut was still interesting and worth the price. Boat is not large, but ride was smooth. We took 10am to Duck Harbor, giving us 5 hours of hiking on the island before the return trip, enough time for the combined Duck mountain/ coastal trail loop. Definitely recommend for the views from the boat and on the island. Note: parking is available at the dock, but you must buy tickets first before driving into dock, and paying for tickets was somewhat slow - give yourself enough time. At this time (July 2021) masks are required when getting on board and when inside on boat, as well as outside for unvaccinated - masks are available for those who forget to bring their own.
