My experience getting my first piercing in 21 years was so smooth and comfortable thanks to Nick Holes! I was incredibly nervous, but he took time to talk me through different jewelry options and placement, and was so informative and professional, including aftercare and making sure I was feeling a-okay before getting up. His continued attention to detail and commitment to the client experience after 17 years practicing speaks to his dedication to the craft and reverence for the human element. The space was eclectic and welcoming, the stations were immaculately clean, and I will 100% make the 2 hour trip back for any future piercing needs, of which I’m sure will be many ☺️

The legends are true! I had my ears pierced with Nick (first piercing since my lobes closed 5 years ago) and he was just as kind and professional as everyone says. I don't have the highest pain threshold but even I barely felt anything -- he was super caring and walked me through every step of the process! This was a couple weeks ago and since then my ears have been healing with no issues. Definitely going back for a cartilage piercing once these ones have healed!

I visited Dark Harbor with a friend, and we highly recommend getting your next piercing here! Nick did my septum and my friend's ear piercings, and he was super nice and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and did an amazing job with the placement of our new jewelry, taking his time to figure out what would work best with our particular ear/nose anatomies. We were in and out of there in no time and the piercing itself was so much less painful than I had anticipated, in part thanks to Nick's expert technique. I will definitely go back for my next piercing!
