Davian and his team of recommended vendors were amazing from the first day and all the way through closing on our house in Portland. We were making a big life transition from out of state and the team was incredibly responsive and providing the easiest way for us to access and sign for documents as they evolved. My wife and I felt well taken care of and informed throughout our buying process. This is a team that you can trust- they are diligent, responsive, and excellent communicators that found us a very appropriate house for our budget. We are overjoyed and would recommend Davian and his team to any who asked.

Davian Akers is a very professional Realtor, who is dedicated to his work and is always there for you whenever you need help. He answers all your questions and sends documents to you in a timely manner, with follow-up calls to make sure you received and understood everything. He is such an amazing person as he treats his clients like family and builds great rapport. Furthermore, he works hard to ensure the client is all set at every step of the way and is not a time waster. He goes straight to the point explaining everything and doesn’t tire of your questions. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. Thank you Davian for all you did for us, we greatly appreciated it.

I highly recommend Davian Akers of Keller Williams Realty for all your real estate needs. He looks out for your best interest from start to finish. Davian took every step necessary providing me with all the right information until I was ready to make a bid. He was very skilled orchestrating between everyone involved in a very timely and focused manner. Davian also chose a title company that was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. On the end stretch I especially appreciated his help settling me into my new condo. Job well done!!

Davian was easy to work with, very responsive, gave us space to to view properties and would immediately get on the phone with seller agents to answer our questions/concerns, always available and gathered information prior to our viewing a property to rule out issues and avoid wasting time/travel. Davian did not use hype tactics we had experienced with other realtors. He was a great resource even when found our home and he kept in touch. We really appreciate his genuine personality, honesty and highly recommend him. We will definitely choose Davian for our future real state business.

Questions & Answers

What is a seller’s market?

A seller's market arises when demand exceeds supply. In other words, there are many interested buyers, but the real estate inventory is low. Since there are fewer homes available, sellers are at an advantage. In a seller's market, homes sell faster, and buyers must compete with each other in order to score a property.

How long does it take to buy a home?

From start to finish, buying a home takes about 10 to 12 weeks. Once a home is selected an the offer is accepted, the average time to complete the escrow period on a home is 30 to 45 days (under normal market conditions). Though, well-prepared home buyers who pay cash have been known to purchase properties faster than that. Market conditions are a major factor in how fast homes are sold. In hot markets with a lot of sales activity, buying a home may take a little longer than normal. That’s because several parties involved in the transaction get behind when business suddenly picks up.
