The rechargeable pen I got here broke in under a month despite not sustaining any damage in the very short time I had it. When I attempted to unscrew the charger to use it, it would not come off and eventually the whole thing just fell apart. At the time of purchase, the only associate who appeared to be in the shop did not offer me a receipt and immediately went off to the backroom as soon as my change had been handed to me without a single word. I thought it was odd at the time but wasn't too concerned as my last pen of similar quality (different brand) had lasted me three years. The one I purchased at Heavenly CloudZ to replace it ended up being an absolute waste of money. I'd like to believe it was a manufacturing issue, but it could just be that this shop doesn't care about the quality of the products sold, and consumers should be wary of that. I did attempt to reach out via the company's social media to see if they would honor a replacement and received no reply. EDIT: I am updating this review because, upon looking at other reviews, it appears the owner is consistently unhelpful when buyers report purchasing defective products from them and uses the excuse that the brands do not allow for replacements. Having worked in customer service and retail my whole adult life, if that is the case, it is ON THE STORE to supply a replacement ON THEM. Their hands are not tied; there are ways to go about replacements that go around brand policies such as this, they clearly just don't want to dip into their own profit margins to make things right when they sell shoddy goods. That is simply bad business. This establishment needs to either sell higher quality products, open a dialogue with their brand reps about how these policies negatively impact the seller/client rapport, offer replacements (on them if the brand refuses) for defective devices, or risk continuing to lose clientele. There are options if you care about your customers. This was my first time shopping at this store since moving to the area and it will also be the last. I would have been happy to give this place plenty of business, but seeing how they treat those who do, I will now be driving further out of my way in the future to ensure my money goes to a smoke shop that actually values their customers.
