The lady with the gray short hair assured me that the room she cleaned was clean it wasn’t. I requested another room. She showed me another one that was semi better. Being a traveling nurse that just drove 12 hours from home. I told her I don’t have time to sleep in a dirty room. I left. My mother asked me to go back. I did. The lady at the desk gave me the same room. I told her I’m not receiving a dirty room and after that she said you can have the dirty room or leave. I told her I’m not and I’ve paid my hard earned money for this room so it should be cleaned. She said well I’ll call the cops. Mind you I drove 12 hours as a nurse to this state just to be treated poorly by the hotel staff. Not a great first experience.

Positive: Nothing. My room lock was broken, chain lock broken, had to put a chair in front of the door because I felt unsafe. There were burn holes in the sheets, stains on the bed skirt. The bedding was filthy. The hotel was filthy. Staff nasty. No breakfast. Negative: There was no continental breakfast as advertised. The locks broken. Filthy. Piece of pepperoni on the stairs for 6 days. Staff very hostile and nasty. Hotel was unsafe. Just a nightmare. Didn¿t even feel safe in my room.

Positive: Nothing at all. Staff is unprofessional, threatening, aggressive, dismissive and rude. The night audit . Older woman, silver short hair. I wouldn¿t recommend this hotel to my enemies. They¿ll steal your deposit for sure. Negative: Cash deposits aren¿t returned as stated. The place is filthy, the overnight woman with short hair threatened to call the police after asking who her supervisor was. Literally over a dozen other places to stay in the area. The super 8 was the most helpf

Do not stay at this hotel. Very sketchy billing practices. Hotel room was supposed to be $66.15 for the night. My credit card was billed $116.15. Called the Econolodge and was told they had credited my card the $50. They had not. They had a folio and said, “See, it was credited it just takes a few days.” Lie. Even though the folio said it was credited, it was not. We stay in many Choice Hotels. I am shocked Choice Hotels even allows this place to be branded an Econolodge. It tarnishes the brand to have a hotel with criminal billing practices. Not only did they overcharge our credit card, but they also had a surcharge for using a credit card so the price you confirm when making the reservation is not even the price. $3.38 of that $66.15 was an additional fee for using a credit card. Unacceptable. BE WARNED. Incredibly deceptive billing practices.
