The clerk at the front desk was so so friendly. Could not ask for a nicer person. Also I have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the country. None of them have smelled as good as this one. From the time you walk in the door all the way to your room. It was a very enjoyable place I would like to visit again.

Breakfast has a nice selection is very good, and there was a very nice common area. Pool is a good size for being indoor and was fairly clean (open until 10 when we stayed). Room was a good size and also clean, but was a little damp feeling. The walk from the lobby to the pool side rooms is a little far but not terrible. Remote in our room for the TV was broken but not a big deal.

It was an ok stay. The room was very tiny, and there weren't enough towels in the pool, but other than that, it was fine. We also had great access to stores and restaurants nearby

Positive: Out of the way and quiet. Finding it is a slight challenge even with GPS. Breakfast was fantastic! The portal from the main building to the pool, workout, breakfast area is an unexpected benefit for Iowa winter and rainy days. Good choice for price. Negative: Can be kind of disorienting. But that's what happens when sites are added onto and revamped. Staff was always helpful. It could be a challenge for those with mobility issues. We will stay there again
