If you spend any amount of time in Vietnam you pretty quickly learn that no matter how sketchy a place looks from the outside, if it's one thing to never doubt them for before trying is when it's food, and this definitely holds true here! Very delicious BBH with authentic taste especially the soup, the classic thick noodles were done just right, and the sate/spice was also very good. Amazing service and the food came really quickly. Highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I'm in Portland!

If you like Pho - you must try this: I was told that "Bun Bo Hue" is good, but my expectations were blown away. The broth was so DELICIOUS & SAVERY. I squeezed the lime, added all the veggies, and mixed everything... It was PERFECTION. All of the meats were TENDER and YUMMY. It was so satisfying that I emptied the bowl completely. This will be my go-to "Bun Bo Hue" destination (less than a 30-minute drive from Beaverton or Vancouver). 5-stars. If you are new to Vietnamese food - I suggest that you omit the congealed blood cube. They also serve many other traditional dishes, but "Bun Bo Hue" is their BEST SELLER. It did not disappoint. 5-stars is no exaggeration... The building & decore were not fancy, but the FOOD was AMAZING. Additionally, the fish sauce is for dipping only!

Such a gem i found today! Delicious bun bo hue and surprisingly friendly staff💕 I got the small size and it has enough meat and noodles. Spicy level was a bit lower, but the owner offered to give us extra sauce next time! The place does smell a bit off, but i think its because of the fish sauce used in many other dishes, which I didn't mind too much. I will def be back!

Really fantastic and authentic Bun Bo Hue! The other dishes are also perfectly done. This has quickly become one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants. The employees are super friendly and accommodating as well. Bring your appetite, so many fantastic things to try.
