Do Not use Wells Fargo and Do Not use this branch if you can if you can at all avoid it. I chose Wells Fargo as the bank for the small business that I am opening in town. After opening an account as a first step I then went on to set up my business and integrate my banking information into all my e-commerce platforms and client accounts. When we went to open our business this month Wells Fargo had for some reason closed our account without notification. We got no written notification, no email notification, and no phone call of any kind. When I went to resolve the issue at the bank I was told that there was no way to open the account back up again. Evidently the Wells Fargo fees had put the account in the negative by THREE DOLLARS so they closed the account. It will now take us months to set up a new account and integrate the banking information across our platforms and our clients. This is months that our staff will not be getting paid simply because Wells Fargo fees put the account in the negative by THREE DOLLARS while we were in our startup phase. DO NOT use Wells Fargo if you are a small business. They do not care about small, locally run companies. You won't even get the courtesy of a single phone call to resolve a problem. I had used Wells Fargo for various businesses since the 90s but I will never use this bank again for any reason. Avoid them at all costs.

UPDATE: Wells Fargo contacted me re: this review and promised to make it right. After reopening this case, the customer service agent I spoke to admitted that Wells Fargo failed to do their job correctly and was at fault for not providing the service they were contracted to do. However after validating our real monetary loss due to their incompetence and confirming that Joseph failed to do his job they offered us $50. This was an even bigger slap in the face and basically means that I'll need to take them to small claims court to get my money back. I repeat my warning to stay clear of this branch, the people employed there and Wells Fargo in general. Original Review: Stay away from this bank and branch. We used their notary services and the banker, Joseph, signed the forms incorrectly and almost cost us a home purchase. We had to travel 3.5 hours and spend hundreds of dollars to fix their mistake. They wouldn't own up to their responsibility and refused to take any corrective action even after speaking with corporate. Find a better financial institution, like NCSECU.

Shout out to "James." I have no idea what his last name is or his position is, but he was great. He had the best customer service skills and as I arrived at 4:59 P.M. (like any habitually late person would), he allowed me to come in and complete my transaction. James, you're the best!!

Awful bank, awful bank manager.Imperious and unhelpful. Its confusing when a bank branch is staffed with people and managers who are so unhelpful. Better to use automated services. We deposited a large business check which had a 9 day hold on it even tho the bank teller advised us that it would most likely clear earlier which it did. They received the funds paid by our BB&T bank the same night as it was presented. They refuse to remove hold, bounced checks against it and the managers explanation was that it is a Wells Fargo business decision. Really? It is a business decision to hold onto their client's money that has already cleared for 9 days? Wow. Their suggestion for a resolution was call an 800#
