Parking lot was very small for us to park. Clerk was very nice and welcoming. Our room smells like someone had been smoking pot in it, the exhaust fan didn't qork in the bathroom so it made the room feel like a sauna, in addition to the fact that the ac wouldn't keep the temp in the room regulated and so obnoxiously loud it kept us up most of the night. I was in town to take my state boards and needed a good night's sleep....that definitely DID NOT HAPPEN! We are high level IHG rewards members, so we used our points to cover the room, it showed. This must be where the guests that use their rewards get stuck and the "paying" guests get put in the nicer rooms.

We stayed back in July 2021. The lady working the breakfast was phenomenal. She was all by herself but she could multi task so well. Truly professional. The gentleman working the front desk was polite and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! But the fact that its on New Bern Avenue and I grew up in the city of New Bern doesn't hurt either. Ha ha

Positive: Location was ideal, near plenty of stores and restaurants. Right off highway so it was easy to find. Rooms were clean and staff was awesome Negative: Took too long to get room assigned.

Rooms are thoroughly cleaned. I see the housekeeping staff actually taking sheets off the beds. Staff always want to know how you are. Breakfast is good. Eva is great! No smell of cigarettes. No roaches seen!
