Terrible experience at this hotel. First my toilet was clogged and they sent me down to front desk to get a plunger cause maintenance was gone. They didn't have one so they stated they would bring me one and never did. Then they shuttled me to the airport and I verified 3 times about my pickup. When I called to be picked up the lady told me the shuttle was not running and there was nothing she could do. When I asked why she just stayed she was sorry but offered no solution and was rude. Will never stay at this hotel again. Feel lied to and nobody cared.

Positive: There was one staff member an older woman who set up the breakfast bar that was nice. Negative: Main issue:I chose this hotel as I was a mom alone with my two younger kids and it was highly rated for families¿ very VERY wrong. stayed 2 nights, the hallway had trash lining it from guests rooms my entire stay, including a used plunger that was there from the time I arrived until I left, as well crumbs etc; the walls and ceilings are thin and we could easily hear other guests late into the night; there is a train track approx. 40 yards out back with working trains that you will hear and feel vibrations from; the toilet in my room ran and was not fixed after I reported it- upon checking on the status of the repair the front desk gentleman simply told me he did not know if had been repaired, no further discussion (he did offer to change my room when I reported it which I declined unfortunately since we were exhausted, I simply turned the water to the tank off overnight); housekeeping did not come into my room (or clean up the hallway apparently) though I saw 2 housekeeping carts in the mornings and nothing posted at the front desk saying I had to request housekeeping; the bathroom light would not come on without the hall light also being on strangely enough; that being said, I stay in hotels in this price range frequently and am pretty easy to please if it's clean and the bed is comfortable (this one was fine) but I will not recommend or return to this hotel when I come back to Raleigh next month.Stay at the Four Points Arena if they have a room.

Positive: Room was clean. No odd smells. No stains on the bed. All the lights and tv worked. Curtains closed completely. Negative: They don't accept cash deposits. They put a $100 hold on a bank card for 3-14 days. Which creates an inconvenience for the guest to monitor their bank account looking for the refund.
