I was disappointed in my recent stay at Ocean Isle Inn. It is the guest responsibility to load luggage and belongings on the valet cart. There’s only 1 ramp to service 6 buildings. As a senior it was big challenge to load and navigate to the room. Maid service would pick up dirty towels but not leave clean towels. It was up to the guest to go to the office to get soap, toilet paper and towels. There was no offer to clean the room. Rooms only cleaned upon leaving. On the positive side, the variety of breakfast food was good and the breakfast service attendant was accommodating and very nice. The location and access to the beach is awesome. Hotel management said poor service was due to staffing shortage. The room rates were much higher than years before and service much worse. I’m sorry. I hope they get their act together.

The location on the beach made the hotel worth while. The unit in the Bali area was not close to my expectations, especially after reading most of the reviews. The hotel has a mildew smell and the screens in the windows had holes preventing us from airing the room out. The air conditioning unit was very loud and obnoxious. When I went to inquire about a room change the staff did not bother to look into my request nor offer accommodations. Upon checking out I showed the staff proof of the disturbance and nothing was done. Again the location to the beach is perfect and the pool towels were very convenient but that is all. We did not have breakfast because we did not sleep well but others reviewed it as good. Do not get the room beside the stairs‼️ 3 star hotel at best.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! My husband and I booked a spur of the moment quick 2 day trip and We will definitely stay again. A lot can be said for a nice, quality, CLEAN, hotel! I was so impressed with how clean I started inspecting things I never look at just to see. No dust or dirt anywhere- not even on the tops of the headboard or the box that covers the top of the curtains. Yes it’s a tad outdated but honestly for what a great place this is I could care less about that. The beds were comfortable! We wanted an ocean view but it is ok…we booked from a third party site so not upset at all. The staff- SO FRIENDLY! Especially the young man who checked us in and the lady working the breakfast area. Breakfast was nice they had waffle makers, beagles, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee, and milk- the normal stuff. I can’t go in with how impressed I am with this place! I hope all the staff know what a wonderful job they are doing here!!

Loved my stay at this pretty Inn! The staff was very kind and the front desk so helpful too! I even forgot two things in my room and when I called, they checked the lost and found right away and called me back! They agreed to send it to me..so nice! Also the room was very clean and tide, even with a microwave! A special makeup towel too. Would go back anytime again! Thank you so much!
