DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!! They ruined a beach surprise for 12 kids on our beach vacation. We traveled from Ohio with five families and ordered an expensive beach toy to enjoy during our week in OIB. There wasn’t enough time to have it delivered to Ohio in advance, and we were concerned with whether we could receive deliveries at our rental. We called around to determine another shipping option and the gal at the OIB UPS store assured us this was quick and easy and safe. We even asked if we needed to have a mailbox there and she said no..just the address and as long as it wasn’t big, we just had to pay $5 upon receipt. This seemed like the best option so we went ahead and ordered. We received a notification from the vendor that it was delivered on Friday so when we arrived in OIB on Saturday, we went directly to the store to pick it up. The gal said it hadn’t arrived yet but checked the tracking number and said that it had been received in Wilmington and assured us that the system had their address for delivery and that it would arrive on Monday. We tried calling no less than 12 times on Monday but no one ever answered. Since there were two different daily deliveries, and no one would answer to confirm delivery, we decided to wait til today (Wednesday) to take the time away from our vacation to go in to the store to pick it up. We were told that the package had been refused and were offered no solution. So now we have 12 disappointed kids and wasted $200 on a beach toy (a bungee that pulls skim boards) that is useless in central Ohio hundreds of miles from any beach. We were told it is store policy not to receive packages if you don’t have a box. So that makes me wonder how many people have been scammed by this lady that accepts $5 for packages. Is she just doing this under the table? We called ahead and did everything right to ensure delivery…..DO NOT WORK WITH THIS STORE!

Gregg, the new store owner, assisted me this morning with some difficult real estate paperwork that I needed notarized. He was very patient and walked me through the entire process. He also helped me ship the documents to Atlanta for my closing. Great service and friendly staff. Cute shopping center in Ocean Isle and a very clean store. Will be back

Usually I have the BEST experience in this store, but one of the young ladies in this store was extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked her a basic question as to why something was the way it was, she quickly snapped back at me in a reprimanding way instead of explaining to me(the customer). I am so turned off by this, that I will drive further to return my items from now on. Horrible customer service, and obviously no accountability if she felt that enabled.
