Definitely a must try when in OIB. Great atmosphere, great staff, and awesome food! We had a group of 8 which included 3 older kids and everyone enjoyed their food and raves about how good it was. Our waitress was phenomenal and so where all the other staff that interacted with us. The establishment is clean but has a laid back vibe. You can dine indoors or out on the patio. They do have a bar that seemed very well stocked. Try the BBQ Chicken Pita… you won’t be disappointed!

Food and service was great but after ordering drinks 1w/ patron 1 w/ 1800 the runner brought our drinks and set then down and they couldnt tell us which was which then said the bartender supposedly made both with patron (we are very aware of the difference and they were 1800) we were charged for patron for both after the "wonderful manager" Valerie REFUSED to even change the price of one back to the 1800. Really poor service when you force a customer to pay for something they didn't order and we even just dealt with it versus having then waste 2 drinks by remaking it. She didn't even have the nerve to come to us herself she forced the poor server to have to speak to us. Would give 0 stars if possible just because the manager was that bad. Waiter was super nice and apologized so many times even though it wasn't his fault.

Cold beer and nice food. I had a burger, it was great with 8oz lean ground beef. Menu has a broad selection. Friendly prompt service with a smile. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pelican’s Perch also has a nice selection of seafood.

Definitely get the Pelican (haddock) Bites. Good stuff! Also my husband has had problems finding good sweat tea since we moved to NC and he loved the tea. Rest of the food and service was okay.
