Didn't notify us of our lease being terminated after we moved out, so we were paying utilities for another tenant until Duke energy notified me about that tenant trying to make an account with the address. The management SHOULD HAVE CONTACTED US to turn off utilities. They had the audacity to ask me to my put my pwc account in their name instead of closing my account and illegally collected double rent. The price for an apartment here is ridiculous. The buildings are still damaged from previous storms and are not updated nor built well. The neighbors are rude, there is trash and potholes everywhere. I hope anyone looking for a place finds something better.

I live at this apartment complex for five years. Problem free. The staff was great and friendly. Up until the last 2-3 months when the new office manager came in. She does not care about the residents shes rude and condensending, and so os the rest of the staff now. None of the pools are open the laundry area at the bottom of the hill is closed as well. The apt closed it due to kids ransacking it. Now the only available laundry area is in the office thats only open from 8-5. So if youre working forget cleaning your clothes when you get home. My biggest issue comes two months after i moved out. I recieve a reciept for damages to the apt that tallied up to 2500 and even charged me rent in an apartment i wasnt living in. The manager tried to claim but sir your contract said your lease was up one month later than when you moved out and turned in your keys. How do you charge rent to someone who you know doesnt live there anymore hasnt lived there and you hold their keys. Anyways the rest and major part of thr bill was cleaning the "wooden" floors. It was damaged by pet urine ill give them that but for everytime they cleaned the floor i got charged. Again ive lived here for 5 years. You have to clean that floor anyways why not charge me just 1 cleaning. They argued with me over this and hung up the phone on me and refused to answer any more of my phone calls.They sent me a reciept that said i had 30 days to pay 2300 dollars and would not accept a payment plan. Two aeeks after I got the notice a collections agency called me so much for my 30 days. I would run from this apartment it is no longer the wonderful place it used to be. Trash is all over the place its disgusting. Dog poop all over the walk ways and grass. Mainteance crew although friendly dont really fix anything. Dont waste your time and money here.

I would give NO star if possible… The staff is terrible especially newest members so unprofessional. The neighbors lie & the staff believe it all. Illegal activity, still no pool available to residents, trash always overflowing, potholes that mess up your car, rude neighbors/kids, Mold everywhere. The rent prices increased without any amenities. I would go on & on but no need. The reviews speak for the complex!!! RUN RUN RUN
